ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ : ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಿ.ವಿ. ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ರವಿವಾರ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ನಡಿಗೆ (ವಾಕ್ ಥಾನ್)ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು.
ಬಿ ವಿ ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಅಮೃತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕೆಎಲ್ ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಕೋರೆ, ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಆಫ್ ಹೈಯರ್ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ & ರಿಸರ್ಚ್ (ಕಾಹೆರ್), ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು, ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ವಾಕಥಾನ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಕೋರೆ, ಇಂದು ಕಾನೂನು ವೃತ್ತಿಯು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಬದಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದ್ದವು. ಈಗ ತೀವ್ರ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ತರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಗದಗ, ಹುಬ್ಬಳ್ಳಿ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಚಿಕ್ಕೋಡಿ, ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿವೆ. ಕೆಎಲ್ಇ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 310 ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
50 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಉತ್ತುಂಗವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಲಿ. ಕಾಲೇಜು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯತ್ತ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಕಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ವಾಕಥಾನ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯು ಬಿವಿಬಿಎಲ್‌ಸಿ (ಲಿಂಗರಾಜ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮೈದಾನ) ದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಚನ್ನಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತ, ನಂತರ ಲಿಂಗರಾಜ ವೃತ್ತ, ಬೋಗಾರವೇಸ್, ಕ್ಯಾಂಪ್, ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ವೃತ್ತ, ಮತ್ತೆ ಬೋಗಾರವೇಸ್, ಕ್ಯಾಂಪ್‌ಗೆ ತಲುಪಿ ಬಿವಿಬಿಎಲ್‌ಸಿ (ಲಿಂಗರಾಜ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಮೈದಾನ) ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸಮಾರೋಪಗೊಂಡಿತು.
ವಾಕಥಾನ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಂದ 400 ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಗ್ರ 5 ಮಹಿಳಾ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು 5 ಪುರುಷ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಿ.ವಿ. ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎಲ್‌ಜಿಬಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ವಕೀಲ ಆರ್.ಬಿ. ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ, ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಘವನ್ನು ಬಿ.ವಿ. ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ 50 ನೇ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಕಥಾನ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಿ.ವಿ. ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಘದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ ಡಾ. ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಹಿರೇಮಠ ಅವರು, ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯ ವಿಜೇತರು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾ ದೊಡಮನಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು. ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಡಾ. ರಿಚಾ ರಾವ್ ದೈಹಿಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ವಿಜೇತರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಅಮರಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು III ಬಿ.ಎ., ಎಲ್.ಎಲ್.ಬಿ. ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಗಾಯತ್ರಿ ಹಡಗಲಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೋಧಕ ಮತ್ತು ಬೋಧಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
On Sunday the 6th April, 2025, KLE Society’s B.V. Bellad Law College, Alumni Association Belagavi, conducted “ALUMNI WALKATHON”.to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Alma Mater The Walkathon began at 7.00 am with the flag off by the auspicious hands of Dr. Prabhakar .B.Kore ,Chairman. KLE Society ,Chancellor KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research(KAHER),Belagavi, Chancellor KLE Technological University,Hubbali.Speaking on the Inaugural ceremony Dr. Prabhakar .B.Kore said the legal profession…has changed a lot.Earlier there were only evening law colleges.Now there is a drastic change been brought. KLE Society along with the health services ,it has taken initiative in developing Law Colleges also. KLE law colleges are in Gadag, Hubballi, Belagavi , Bengaluru,Chikkodi, Mumbai. The new project has Begun near airport road, Belagavi. There are 310 institutions under the KLE umbrella.
Dr Kore congratulated the college and wished that the 50 years celebration should reach greater heights and wish the college a success.
The Walkathon competition started from BVBLC (Lingaraj College Ground) then reached Channamma Circle, then Lingaraj Circle, Bogarves, Camp, Railway Station Circle, back to Camp, Bogarves and ended towards BVBLC (Lingaraj College Ground).
The Walkathon competition witnessed 400 participants ……from different places from north Karnataka. The top 5 Women Alumni participants and 5 Men Alumni participants were honored with Mementoes and Certificates:

Bellad Law College, to build a strong network with the Alumni Association.
Speaking on the occasion the president of the function, Dr. Jyoti Hiremath, Principal of the college, congratulated the winners of the competition and all the alumni members for organizing this event which has created a history in the Report of Bellad Law College.
The programme began with an invocation song by Ms Sneha Dodamani,Tours and Excursion Secretary. Smt. Savita Pattanashetti,Asst.Prof. welcomed the gathering.Dr. Richa Rao Physical Director, announced the names of the winners.Mr, Akash Amarashetti,General Secretary proposed vote of thanks. The programme was compeered by, Ms.Gayatri Hadagali, Class Represenatative,III B.A.,LL.B.
All the Teaching and Non-teaching staff members and students were present on the occasion.
