ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಬಿ.ವಿ.ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ

ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ : ಕೆಎಲ್ ಇ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಿ.ವಿ.ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಧವಾರ ತೇವ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ತೇವ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕುರಿತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾದ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಗಳು ಕುರಿತು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ಕಾಹೇರ್ ಸಹ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಡಾ.ಉಷಾರಾಣಿ ಸಾನು ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಏರೋಬಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕರಹಿತ ಮಿಶ್ರಗೊಬ್ಬರ, ವರ್ಮಿಕಾಂಪೋಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೊಕಾಶಿ ಕಾಂಪೋಸ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಆರ್ದ್ರ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಿಶ್ರಗೊಬ್ಬರ ಮಾಡಲು ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ತಂತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿತು.

ಎನ್ವಿರಾನ್ಮೆಂಟಲ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎನ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಘಟಕ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸಸಿ ನೆಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 100 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ದ್ರ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಕುರಿತು ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸವು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿತು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತೇವ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆಳವಾದ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಡೆದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರದ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಈವೆಂಟ್ ಒಂದು ವೇಗವರ್ಧಕವಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿತು.

A guest lecture on the topic of Wet Waste Management was organized at KLE Society’s B.V.Bellad Law College Belagavi on Wednesday 5th June 2024. The lecture aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of managing wet waste effectively and to provide them with an understanding of the various methods and techniques that can be adopted for the same. The speaker for the lecture was Dr. Usharani sanu, Associate Professor, KAHER Belagavi. The lecture delved into the various techniques and technologies available for composting wet waste, including aerobic and anaerobic composting, vermicomposting, and Bokashi composting.
The event started with sapling of plant by the Chief Guest organized by Environmental Club and NSS Unit of the college. Total 100 students were present in the event.
The guest lecture on wet waste management at XYZ College proved to be a resounding success, with students walking away with a deeper understanding of the importance of managing wet waste effectively and the practical knowledge needed to implement sustainable waste management practices. The event served as a catalyst for fostering a culture of responsible waste disposal and environmental stewardship among the college community. The college administration expressed gratitude to Dr. Usharani sanu for his enlightening presentation and hoped to organize more such informative sessions in the future.
